Modern markets are integral business units that are essential for the improvement of the business environment. These infrastructures enhance shopping experience as well as revenue collection.

The County Government of Bomet in partnership with the State Department of Housing and Urban Development, are set to construct and improve a number of Fresh Produce Markets across the county.

Today, officials from the state department alongside our officers from the department of Land, Housing and Urban Development, made visits to Mulot and Chebunyo Markets which are set to be constructed under the partnership.

The new market structures are designed to have restrooms, social halls, ICT centers as well as ATM installation.

Construction of the structures are set to begin immediately with the contractor, who was  part of the visiting delegation, given clear instructions to utilize the scheduled construction period possible to deliver quality work.
