The County Government of Bomet will issue 10,000 NHIF medical Covers to needy people below 70 years of age. Bomet Governor Hon. Dr. Joyce Laboso has said.
The Governor while addressing Christians at Riverside AGC in Bomet Town and later at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Chemaner Ward, Bomet East, announced her plan to conduct an aggressive campaign to ensure every household in Bomet is covered by the National health insurer. The elderly above 70 years of age will receive monthly stipends from the National Government.
The Governor also revisited her call for practicing diversified farming where she assured the locals of a ready market for tissue culture bananas, avocados and mangoes.
