The thermal ablation machines, which are used for screening Cervical cancer, will boost our screen and treat approach for the disease. So far, we have trained 284 nurses, 7 medical officers, and 7 clinical officers under this program. Our county has acquired 36 thermal ablation machines which were realized through a partnership between the County Government of Bomet, the National Cancer Control Program, and CHAI(Clinton Health Access Initiative) During the distribution of the thermal ablation machines to 30 health centers across the county, 5 Sub-county hospitals, and the Longisa County Referral Hospital, at Longisa hospital this afternoon.
