Bomet County Governor Prof. Hillary Barchok visited the upcoming Dr. Joyce Laboso mother-and-child wellness centre, which is situated next to youth farmers in Bomet East Constituency Longisa Ward.

During the visit, the governor stated that his administration is working around the clock to ensure that the facility is completed within the set timeline.

In addition, he stated that once the hospital is completed and operationalized, it will be equipped with modern equipment, including MRI and CT scan.

The governor expressed optimism that the project will be completed in the next two months, and he praised the good workmanship that the constructors are employing at the site. He stated that once the facility is completed, the head of state will commission it officially.

According to the engineers, the project is over 90% complete, and the contractor is putting in the final touches.

During the visit, the governor was joined by members of the Bomet County Assembly Health Committee, which is headed by Longisa MCA Stephen Changmorik.
