Miss Tourism Bomet County delegate comes 3rd in Vihiga finals

Miss Tourism Bomet County delegate Winnie Chepng’etich Rop emerged third in a fiercely contested Miss Tourism Kenya finals held in Vihiga County on Saturday. Signs that Winnie would do well emerged early after she won four categories as the contest progressed to the wee hours of Sunday. She bagged best cultural dance in the South Rift Region, best exhibition booth, best traditional food exhibition and the region’s best pageant. Winnie was also chosen as Miss Tourism Kenya 2016 2^nd Runner-Up Investment Pillar and is set to travel to Paris for her first assignment. Bomet County governor H.E Isaac Ruto and the first lady H.E Esther Ruto were at hand to support the delegate.
