UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE (UHC) ROLLOUT
Pursuant to the Jubilee Government Big Four agenda on Universal Health coverage (UHC), the County Government of Bomet is committed to providing access to the needed health services to Bomet residents without them incurring financial hardships.
In a bid to significantly reduce the out of pocket payment for health care, County Government has set aside 
funds in the FY 2018/19 to meet the cost of health insurance for the most needy and vulnerable members of the society in at least 10,000 households across the county through the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF).
