USAID-KAVES(Kenya Agricultural Value Chain Enterprise Project)

Governor Isaac Ruto addressing USAID-KAVES (Kenya Agricultural Value Chain Enterprise Project) workshop at Brevan Hotel, Bomet town. The workshop is deliberating on sustainable fodder supply to the dairy sector throughout the year. Participants are drawn from Bomet, Kericho, Nyamira and Kisii counties. The County Government of Bomet has put in place initiatives to enhance production of fodder by distributing Boma Rhodes pasture and sun flower seeds to all cooperatives throughout the county. The county government also facilitated cooperatives to acquire tractors fitted with mower and baler machines.
