Bomet County disaster response team has over the years done splendid work despite the lack of proper protection and aid devices. It is for this reason that the County administration is putting more effort and resources into the unit to ensure our personnel has all the necessary equipment.
Prof.Hillary Barchok on the 31st of May, unveiled assorted protective gear to equip the team. The devices include fire safety boots, protective gear, breathing apparatus, safety aprons, reflector jackets, helmets, fire extinguisher balls, first aid kit, diving gears such as oxygen cylinders.
