We appreciate the significance of quality early childhood development and education in the long-term development of our children’s education and a better and more educated society. In this regard, County administration has continued to enhance ECDE learning through development and provision of teaching and learning materials. Governor Hon Prof. Hillary Barchok flagged off teaching and learning materials worth Kshs 3.5M for all ECDE centers across the county, this afternoon. We also intend to make additional purchases worth Kshs 4.2M in the coming Financial Year.
Alongside this, we have completed more than 400 ECDE centers, fully equipped. ECDE assistants have also been trained on CBC. The proposed feeding program for all children in our ECDE centers will be rolled out in the coming Financial Year.
