The new Chief Officer, Finance, CPA Jonah Mutai has officially taken over operations of the department at a ceremony conducted at the Treasury offices in Bomet, this morning.

Mr. Mutai comes in to replace his Economic Planning Counterpart Mrs. Milcah Ronoh who has held the position in an acting capacity over the past few months.

Speaking during the function, Mr. Mutai pledged to hit the ground running, promising that he will serve the people of Bomet, diligently.

The Handing-Over ceremony was witnessed by CECM Finance, Economic Planning and ICT, Mrs Rosa Bett among other officials from the department.

CPA Mutai was sworn in last week following his rigorous vetting and subsequent approval by the county assembly of Bomet.
