Directorate of Administration and Public Services

  • Public Administration.
  • Coordination of County Government functions in Sub Counties to the lowest unit of devolution.
  • Coordination of Public Participation and Civic Education.
  • County Security Matters.
  • Policy and Training of County Personnel.
  • Liquor licensing.
  • Gambling, Betting & Lottery.
  • Control of Drug and Narcotic Substance.
  • Coordination with Huduma Centers.
  • Community Mobilization.
  • Formulation of county public service policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Initiate County Public Sector reforms and transformation.
  • Coordinate with National MSPS on adoption of GHRIS and UHRIS.
  • Mobilize Service adoption of single e-salary and benefit administration, manageable county staffing levels and wage bill.
  • Coordinate in consultation with HR the Industrial attachments and volunteer services.
  • Management of County Government shared support services.
  • Spearhead the County public service research, development and public service delivery innovations.
  • In Consultation with HR and Authorized Officers develop various county public service career planning, progression and development.
  • Formulation of Counselling Policy and service.
  • Operational Standards and Process Re/Engineering.

  • Disaster and Emergency Response management and Coordination
  • Coordinate the county special programmes
  • Coordinate implementation of flagship projects
  • Coordinate cross county projects and programmes e.g. LREB
  • Mobilize the Governor’s legacy-based inter-departmental projects and programmes
  • Facilitate the accounting and authorised functions in the Governors and Deputy Governor’s Office
  • Resource Mobilization and Development Partnerships
