Bomet Divers Retrieve Body of Kiplimo in Cheploch

Divers from the County Government of Bomet have succesfully retrieved the body of their Cheploch colleague, Rodgers Kiplimo who drowned in the famous Cheploch Gorge, Baringo County, over the weekend.

Following a request made yesterday by the County Government of Baringo, the disaster department in Bomet county deployed two of their renowned divers, Gideon Ng’otwa and Gideon Siele to join the rescue mission in Cheploch, this morning.

With their diving prowess and vast experience, the duo embarked on a mission to find one of their own, located and retrieved his body in record time, giving his family the reprief they so desperately needed.

The search for the seasoned diver has been going on since Saturday but has been unsuccessfull owing to the fact that the waters have been surging following the heavy rains pounding the area.

Following the retrieval of the body, the family of the late diver and the community expressed their gratitude for the two Bomet County divers saying that they had done their best for their colleague.

Bomet divers are famous for their prowess and skills and have succesfully helped save lives and retrieve bodies not just in Bomet County but across the region.

Cheploch Gorge is a famous tourist attraction site which brings in both local and international tourists who are usually impressed by the agility, skills and determination of young men who dive into the waters.
