Governor Dr Hillary Barchok, Tuesday, witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of the new County Secretary, County Executive Committee members, Chief officers, Public Service Board CEO and Members of the Municipal Board upon vetting and approval by the assembly.
Jayne Sigilai and Dr Joyce Tonui are now the new Chief Officers for Gender, Culture & Social Services and Medical Services respectively. Mr. Peter Bii also took the oath of office as the new Public Service Board Chief Executive Officer while Milcah Chepng’eno, Rev. Philex Korir, Cherono Kosgey and Flavian Kenduiywo as the new Municipal Board Members. Dr Barchok urged the new office bearers to discharge their duties and responsibilities with due diligence.
Stellah Chepkoech Lang’at was sworn in as the new County Secretary. Alice Kirui and Peter Tonui took the oath of office as Executive Committee members for Gender, Culture, Social services, Youth and Sports and Water, Sanitation & Environment respectively.
