Hon. Rosa Chepngetich is the current CECM for Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock, and Cooperative, as well as the acting CECM for Finance, Economic Planning, and ICT in the County Government of Bomet. She was born in 1972 in Kericho County. Her educational journey began at Liloch Primary School (1978-1985) and continued at Sosiot Girls High School (1986-1990). Hon. Rosa graduated from Kenyatta University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Business, achieving second-class honors, upper division.

To expand her skills, Hon. Rosa obtained a CPA and a Diploma in Marketing Management. Her professional journey began at Kimbilio Daima Sacco in 1999, where she advanced from Cashier to General Manager, eventually serving as CEO from 2011 to 2020.

In 2020, Hon. Rosa joined the County Government of Bomet as the CECM for Cooperatives before assuming her current roles. Beyond her professional dedication, Hon. Rosa is a devoted spouse and a follower of the Christian faith, making her journey as CECM a story of resilience and commitment to Bomet County’s development.
