‎‎Bomet County has marked a significant milestone in its journey towards becoming an investment destination of choice following the successful completion of a comprehensive Master Class on Investment Attraction and participation in the inaugural County Investment Readiness Forum.

‎The three-day forum, held at the prestigious Windsor Country and Golf Club, brought together county leaders, investment experts, and key stakeholders to chart a new course for economic development in Bomet.

‎The Bomet County delegation was led by Chief Officer in the Department of Trade, Energy, Tourism, Investment and Industry (TETII), Dr. Nelson Tore, accompanied by Trade Director Mr. Paul Towett and Dr. Sigilai.

The team immersed itself in intensive sessions covering critical areas such as investor targeting, project packaging, investment policy frameworks, and creating conducive business environments.

‎The forum equipped participants with practical tools and strategies to position Bomet County as a competitive investment destination. Participants expressed hope of translating these learnings into tangible actions that will attract both local and international investors to our county.

‎The Master Class featured expert facilitators who guided participants through case studies of successful county investment initiatives from across Kenya and beyond.

Key focus areas included agriculture value chain development, renewable energy opportunities, tourism infrastructure, and technology-enabled services – all sectors where Bomet holds significant potential.
