Bomet County is among the areas regarded as having the highest Measles-Rubella and tetanus prevalence which are the major cause of deaths among infants. In this regard, we are taking deliberate interventions to ensure that our children do not contract these deadly diseases.

Bomet being one of the 22 counties undertaking the campaign against Measles and Rubella, Governor Hon Prof. Hillary Barchok officially launched the vaccination exercise earlier today. The campaign targets to vaccinate almost 100,000 children aged 9-59 months.
